To do this, you have to charter a fishing boat to go offshore. You have to experience deep-sea fishing if you want to catch the big one. This is a more affordable option if you are charting a boat as it is quicker to get there and the boat uses less fuel, which is expensive in Bermuda. If you want to go to one of the other reefs, you will be spending a lot of time there and back but not a lot of time fishing. This is where most of the reef fishing is done. ![]() The nearest reef band is about five miles from shore. The reefs around Bermuda have formed three bands.
